Fluoroscopy and the Cardiac BioSimulator

Fluoroscopy is one of the most used imaging techniques in the field of interventional cardiology and can easily be combined with LifeTec Group’s Cardiac BioSimulator (CBS). Whether it is TAVI-interventions, catheter-ablation training or percutaneous mitral valve repair; CBS in combination with fluoroscopy images can provide you with clinically relevant and realistic R&D or training settings. Without losing the ability to use live endoscopic video, ultrasound imaging or real-time hemodynamic data visualization our CBS system can be seamlessly integrated in any fluoroscopy room.

A new fluoroscopy facility

Recently, we have partnered with AngioConsult (Mannheim, Germany) to expand our portfolio of fluoroscopy facilities. In their hybrid OR we can nicely bring together our CBS system with state-of-the-art imaging techniques, resulting in a perfectly suitable and clinically relevant environment for training and R&D purposes.

What's in it for you?

The Cardiac BioSimulator in combination with fluoroscopy can offer you the most realistic training or R&D environment for (new) developments in the field of cardiology and cardiac surgery. We are able to either bring our CBS system with us to the fluoroscopy facility of your choice or to arrange the fluoroscopy facilities ourselves to spare you the efforts of finding a suitable location. Valuable and unique insights for both device manufactures as well as for device operators can be obtained in a fully controlled setup. Since both human cadaveric hearts or animal hearts can be used in CBS, we can really provide a complete environment that perfectly fits the needs of your company during different stages of device manufacturing and training. Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you want to know more!
