"lack of ultrasound machines in Uganda"

[July 22, 2019] Last week, LifeTec Group was able to help people in need in a very direct way.

Over a network of people working in humanitarian organizations, we heard about a very critical lack of ultrasound machines in a rural hospital in Uganda and we happened to have two spare machines.

So it was clear what needed to be done.

With the help of many people from the company (see picture 1), the machines made it first from Eindhoven to Mönchengladbach (see picture 2), where they were stored by the leader of the local action group of Plan International.

From there they were picked up by Sabine Puehl, who volunteers for an organization that supports clinics in need in development countries (Partnerschaft Gesunde Welt e.V., website only in German).

She organizes the shipping from Calw, Germany to the Buluba Hospital in Uganda (see video), where they will hopefully be useful in diagnosing and treating patients for many more years.
