The training sessions were not just about mastering the technical aspects of PhysioHeart but also served as an opportunity for the teams to streamline our processes and protocols. The practical training included the preparation of fluids, setting up the equipment, and of course, getting the perfusion up and running, to let the heart do the work. The week was marked by the successful execution of two experiments, where the second experiment was already executed for a large part by our students. As the week concluded, both teams reflected on the success of the training sessions and expressed excitement about the next stage of getting PhysioHeart up and running in the US. Taylor and Zoey will now try to replicate the protocols in Minneapolis, where we are sure they will be able to perform successful experiments in the near future.
