We are working towards CE certification of our portable CBS platform, where manufacturing of the system is one of the relevant parts in the certification process. Luckily, Resolution Medical is set up to take on the role of manufacturer. Aaron Opbroek, our colleague from Resolution Medical, recently visited our Eindhoven site to gain all relevant insights into our portable CBS platform, so he can smoothly kick-start the manufacturing process in Minneapolis.
While Aaron was in our Eindhoven lab facilities, he could witness some of the BioSimulation activities that we have not yet transferred to the Minneapolis facility. As such he joined one of our PhysioHeart studies. Furthermore, we had interesting conversations about further alignments to bring product development and BioSimulation closer together, leveraging each other’s knowledge and skills.
The LifeTec team ensured that Aaron felt right at home during his stay, offering him a taste of Dutch delights such as kroketten, frikandellen, stroopwafels, and, of course, some exceptional beers. In Aaron's own words, "I had a great time visiting with our team in Eindhoven this week. So many exciting opportunities to further evaluate medical therapies exist, and this team is at the forefront of it. Can't wait to see what we are going to accomplish together."
