About Sjoerd
Sjoerd is a Senior Research Engineer working at LifeTec Group since 2005. Sjoerd obtained his Medical Engineering degree in 2003 at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences. In his career with LifeTec Group, Sjoerd developed a number of platforms used mainly for the cardiovascular field. These platforms such as the PhysioHeart™ and the Cardiac BioSimulator are widely used in Preclinical CRO as well as for clinical training. Sjoerd is a hands-on pragmatic engineer with a strong drive to solve the challenges clients bring to LifeTec Group.
